Win 7 & Win Xp One PC One HDD Two Partitions C: Is Full & D: Is Empty

    Hello All,

This is my first post, so Please forgive me if I have posted wrong ie wrong place wrong topic etc.

Let me start by saying I have a Dell optic380 PC which came with Pre-installed Windows 7
My company had Win Xp Pro or installed, so now I have two partitions one is C: and the other is D: I want to know if there is a way to just install/run all my application on the D: partition?

Because I keep getting C: drive is full the C: is FAT 39 MB and the D: is NTFS 160 GB. I installed a game on my sons limited user account and get that message about C: disc full..

    Thank you in advance.

Could you post a screenshot or snip of disk management.

The 39mb is Dell's OEM partition which runs Dell Diagnostics from boot or Win7. It should not have a drive letter and it certainly should not be C. If D is then Win7, where is XP?

We need to see a screenshot of the maximized Disk mgmt drive map and listings, using the Snipping Tool in Start Menu. Screen Shots

Then we can advise you how to fix this.
