Unable to select from certain drop down menus, windows changing.

Hello, This is one of my first times posting to something like this and I couldn't find any other person experiencing a problem like mine.

I'll start with the most annoying problem. When I click click a icon on my task-bar (For example Steam ((Gaming software)) it shows the brief list of games I've played recently, as well as Friends and Settings. This isn't the problem. The problem is that when I right click and attempt to go down the list, the list disappears automatically without giving me a chance to select anything, this also goes for if I leave my mouse on the icon after right clicking, sometimes in programs that have drop-down lists I don't have this problem.

The other problem which is also annoying is when I'm in a program, the last window that I opened up will pop up in the middle of my screen and will flash slightly (As if I just selected it) This problem also happens with full-screen games. If I'm playing on a game, alt-tab out to check my E-mail or get ready to Download a update for that game. What will happen is I will do my business, attempt to alt-tab back in and then rather then opening to my game it will go back to that window/ My desktop. Sometimes when I attempt to Alt-tab it will show up for a second then go as well.

Last problem which is fairly easy to explain is when I click+hold a window open that was in fullscreen/In a box It will go to either jump away from my mouse and go full screen or go back to a box.

I'm running a virus check at the moment to see if anything pops up. I will post the results in the morning, But if you guys have any ideas of what or why this is happening I could really help!

Extra information:
These problems started on Friday 13th (Strange, Hun?) after I downloaded some updates on Thursday the 12th. I back-dated to the 8th this morning with no Luck, I hope you guys can help.

Hi, Welcome to Sevenforums!

You have a poltergeist!

Run System Restore.
System Restore

If this doesn't fix the issues. Run sfc /scannow. If it finds anything, run the scan 3 times or more.
SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

Let me know how your computer is running.

Thank you for replying so soon. My Computer updated its self last night, to no use. I tried system restore to no luck and I'll update this post once the sfc scannow is done.

My Computer runs fine, I try to keep it in a good state (Externally and Internally) I Remove programs that I don't use (Un-installing and such), I keep my Desktop clean, My fan clean. I've yet to find a way to remove the case of my Computer thou (Mostly due to being Scared of breaking it, But I can remove the front cover to clean the fan)

I shall update after I've run the scan two-three more times.

I've run the scan at least 5 times now, with no luck- It reads "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations"

I've run it a few more times, still no luck. I unplugged my keyboard and It seemed to stop, for a second or so until I plugged it back in. I tried a different keyboard but no luck.
