Choose the program you'd like to open the file: the

I know that there have been a few posts re this message but mine is (I think slightly different. I'd like to locate the file in question in this case 'the' is the file name.

I've run a full malwarebytes scan and it's found nothing.

    Any suggestions?

    Hello sikm,

Can you post a screenshot? Your post needs some clarification and details.

Have you tried to searching for The to see where it is?

If you are using Windows Search and can't find it, try File Locator Lite (free).

Rename it to the.txt and see what's inside.

I don't think it can be renamed based on the OP / screen-print (Choose Program).

You can try opening the file with Notepad using Choose Programs / Browse.
If you can open it in Notepad, click "Save As".
That should show you where the current file is saved...

Don't save it - this is just an idea to try and find where the file is ...

just saw you last post - can't rename as expected...

I'm baffled. How did the Open With window appear?
