The default value of the Win+E is in the registry at the following location;

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\Shell\opennewwindow\command\DelegateExecute

The value should be;

{11dbb47c-a525-400b-9e80-a54615a090c0}

Check and verify the value.

If you need to make a change, be sure to backup the registry first!

Creating a shortcut without - shortcut written after the original name
as the titel declares, is there any patch or something to make Windows 7 shortcuts not rename theirselves to "application.exe - shortcut" but rename theirselves into just "application.exe"? I find it very annoying having to erase " - shortcut" from the name all the time.
