Windows 7: Yet another "what do you think of this notebook" question

I currently have an old Toshiba Satelite P100 pspa3u-1rf01w (pretty sure I got that right)

It's dying on me as of today and must be replaced!

It still pretty much does what I need it to do so I don't really need my next notebook to be an expensive powerhouse.

I like the 17inch widescreen and do not want to go any smaller with the new notebook.



Can anyone tell me how this old Toshiba compares to this new Lenovo I am considering purchasing?

how much faster will this be? Does it seem like a good deal? I use the PC for watching videos and browsing the web, that's it. Am I good to go with this? How about Lenovo build quality, is it gonna last?

the coupon deal doesn't even seem to be active anymore, does that often happen? Did they sell out? The coupon and deal should technically still be good till the 21st. I was able to add the configuration to cart and enter the coupon, i then went to get some food and maybe within an hour the deal is now gone. I really hope getting dinner didn't cost me this notebook haha. I am going to call them tomorrow

You may have timed out and then they do not let you use the coupon code a second time. At least that is one possibility.
