    Welcome to Windows Seven Forums.

I'm afraid you'll need to be a lot more specific.

Are you experiencing software conflicts now?

    If so, what are they?

What programs do you have installed?

Do you have more than one anti-virus program and/or firewall installed?

    What are your computer specifications?

Are you using 32-bit software and 64-bit software?

sometimes my vlc media player seems to make a noise with the audio when watching a movie, i got rid of windows media player as i thought it could be conflicking each other but it did seem better for a day then the issue returned, i have other softwear on my laptop such as coverting and burning softwear but they are not open or running but thought that could be the problem, i dont want to get rid of it as i use it alot to put movies onto discs, it could be just nothing but it would be nice just to watch a movie on vlc media player without this issue, hard to exsplain how to discribe it.

    Welcome to the forums.

Generally, it doesn't make a difference to any media player's operation to have other media player's installed on your system. (I tend to leave WMP as it comes and use other players around it, such as VLC and Clementine or iTunes etc.)

Are you only having the issue with one film? Have you tried playing it in a different player? (i.e if its not working in VLC, have you tried WMP, MPlayer, Quicktime, Banshee... the list goes on)
