Hello again.I have asked in this thread how to make my laptop not to shut down when I close the lid and I found out that I just have to change a set from control pannel. Now the online game I play keeps running while the lid is closed but after I open the lid again and I click on my game I get white screen.Any idea how to solve this? Thanks:)

That depends on the game. I was in this situation a while back when I was still playing MMOs too. Some games just plain don't like the laptop screen shutting off when they have focus, but most can behave especially if you set to play in windowed mode instead of full screen. Try alt-tabbing to something else before closing the lid for the night and leaving it running, so when you reopen the lid, just alt-tab back to the game.

    • Thanks for the advice. However it didn't work but at least I learned something new now xD BUt this helped me discover that if I open a new window with the game the screen will be back to normal. When I opena new game window the screen shuts for 2 secs and that's why everything goesback to normal maybe .

What were the temps when you had the lid closed? Were you baking it?
