How Do I Increase The Number Of Search Suggestions Windows 7 Explorer

Hi, when I do a search in my Windows 7 Explorer (not IE) search box, the box only shows 3 past searches in the history suggestions, and I want to increase that number. For example, now it shows::

"Control
Interest
book"

I want it to display more than 10, for instance::

"Control
Interest
book
hunger
games
harrison
job
etc"

I have looked everywhere on the internet, and only can come up with either deleting the history or enabling it, via the wordwheelquery in the Registry...so is there a way to do this or am I stuck with only the 3 last searches.

Need either a registry edit or a way to do this without using a registry edit, thanks so much.

Hello and welcome to Seven Forums.

I use File Locator Lite for searching.
It's free, easy to use, works well, and I think the default history list is 20.

Thanks, I'll give it a try, still not sure why the only 3 recent searches on the explorer in windows cannot be changed...or where to do it.

IE9 - How to increase the number of simultanous downloads
OK, coming to the experts to advise the "correct" way to increase the number of simutaneous downloads under IE9. I read that prior to IE8 that the number of downloads was limited to 2 for HTTP 1.1 and 4 for HTTP 1.0. Per MS, in IE8 this was increased to 6 and 6 and they provided a Fix-It to go...
