How to add appl to startup folder

I have added apps to the startup folder before, but something seems to have changed. I looked at the help topic on how to do this, but it is BS! It doesn't work. Anybody know how? I am very frustrated with Win 7!!

Can you provide a link to the help topic?
Is there an option in the program to Start with Windows?
    What apps are they?

I figured it out. I guess the offline help is obsolete - lesson learned. Thanks
