If your CPU has died the only fix is to replace it.

This video shows you how, but you need to research exactly what you can replace it with first.

Do a search on Google for that.

Did you follow this guide?

Troubleshooting LED Blink Codes or Beep Codes During Startup or Boot HP Pavilion dv5000 Notebook PC series - HP Customer Care (United States - English)

Yes, it's for a different model, but the codes are the same and the hard reset procedure should also be the same.

May be the mobo if there are also no beeps. Failed HD would show error on screen,

Failed monitor or display adapter would still show CPU activity including fans, but you can plug in external monitor to be sure.

Failed RAM would give beep codes, but you can swap sticks to be sure.

With failed mobo you can remove the HD to place in another laptop or use external USB adapter cable found inexpensively on Amazon, to copy out your data.

That looks like it's a fairly new laptop. Do you still have warranty on it? You should definately call HP/Compaq to schedule a repair, whether it is within warranty or not. If it is in Warranty and it's not your fault, then it will be free but if it's not in warranty, whether it's your fault or not, they will charge you for the repairs.
