Look in Disk Management. If Windows 7 remains System Active partition then as long as it's on the HD set to boot first in BIOS, you can delete Win8 in Disk Management.
If not post back a screenshot of your maximized Disk Management drive map with listings, using the SNipping Tool in Start Menu.
