    Minimized programs are opened up into the background


    Hello

    If i minimize all my programs and see my background on desktop. If i open up internet explorer, all the other programs minimized will open up in the background! It's really anoying...What could the problem be?

    I use 1920x1080 in desktop and in games for example.
    And if i play Heroes of Newerth and i alt-tab, IE appears in the background of Heroes of Newerth and i can still see it beeing in the background. I tried differented "fullscreen/windowed mode" stuff there, but no difference.

Does minimizing a program to the Task Bar and leaving it there for the day, using it off and on, use up more resources than we might suspect? I generally minimize Thunderbird and keep it open all day which makes it handy. Would it be wiser to close it after each use? Thank you.

programs freeze when minimized

I was having a problem with the whole operating system freezing up randomly on an Inspiron 1525 so I shut down my computer and left it off for 5 minutes because it was making my entire laptop burn up. when I started up, it brought me to some "windows boot manager" screen asking me to make boot...
Hey guys I am new to this forum, and recently any programs I minimize won't show up on the taskbar, but if I alt-tab it'll show back up. I tried google for answers but I could not find anything. Any help could be appreciated. Thanks
Minimized programs icons missing
in General Discussion

All of a sudden running programs that I have minimized no longer have an icon on the task bar so that I can open them up when needed. I have to go to the task manager to get to them. Not sure what I did but I can't seem to get them to display on the task bar again. Advice much appreciated.
