Removal of updates is not a trouble-shooting tool.

Installation of updates is a trouble-shooting tool.

Please check into the books for certification from Microsoft on Windows 7.
I do not remember which one covers this particular topic, but you will find the material instructive. And yes, I have MS certifications.

Your pious attitude is somewhat silly. I never said removal of updates is a troubleshooting tool. I said "Removing updates is a trouble shooting tool, so to speak, at least in my case."

    Seriously get a grip.

scannow and slow startup in WIN7 by Karl Menzel

    Karl:

Karl, are you the son of Karl Einstein? You have an uncanny resemblence to him.
