    Need help to make a recovery disk in Windows 7


    Hi guys I am new in this forum & this is my first post, I need your help please,

    I have purchased a new Sony Vaio laptop / PCG-71911M

    the harddrive is partition in 2

    the first partition is hidden, it have the Windows 7 installation with factory settings,

    Please first I need to know is which button I am suppose to press encase I will need to make a factory installation, as you know their is something to press like f2 or something.

    & the other thing I need to know is I made my laptop ready with Ms Office & all the programs I needed,

    Now I need to made a dvd for when I go to make a restore disk, I need it to install my laptop as it is today with complete install can I do that ?

    The hidden partition generally contains all the software (as well as windows) the computer originally came with. It's a kind of backup but does not include your personal files.
    In this case though some here may disagree with me. I really just suggest backing up personal files, as the computer can be restored to it's factory state at any time.

    2.Enter your computer's model number (for example, PCV-XXXX), and click List Parts and accessories.
    3.Follow the online instructions to order the Recovery Media Kit.
    If you are not able to access the Sony Direct Accessories and Parts Center Web site, contact a customer service representative at 1-800-488-7669.

       Information
    We always assume you have made your Recovery Disks using the OEM manufacturer's Recovery Media Creator app the first day you had your new PC.
    & made the Startup Repair CD.
