    Raner,
Have you tried using the Snipping Tool?

Suggest you ask the WinRar people why the tga is not viewable as you wish.

Hey Karl... yes I've tried the snipping tool works great on static screen (no motion stuff) but will do nothing on stuff that
has motion (active screen)...I will contact WinRaR but I think the problem is with windows 7 not WinRaR... Thanks For the comeback...

    Raner,

In general, you should not expect a program to have some features on Windows 7 just because the program had these features on Windows XP, these are two different operating systems and the developers could have changed the program, when they created a new version.

Now, what I'd like to ask is why are you opening a tga file with WinRar? Is it a part of some archive? If it's simply an image file, then you can view it with many viewers (irfanview, for example) or even edit (with Gimp, for example). But why are you using WinRar?

For capturing video off your screen you may try Jing or similar software, I am not sure if PrintScreen actually supposed to do video frame captures.

Win7 doesn't have a problem, it seems, pasting images from a print screen, it works for paint, paint shop and likely many more.
I wonder if it would be worth checking you keyboard to see if that button does do what is expected ?

To my knowledge, you cannot capture a scrolling image using native Windows 7 screen capture. I have used Snagit for that particular process.

He is trying to capture video as I understood him. Paint has never been capable of capturing video.

    Raner,
Both Unifex and SirGeorge have suggested some programs to you which may satisfy your needs.
I've used all of the programs recommended and can second their recommendations.

Hello to all of the guys helping on my post...
I'll answer in the order you replied..
Uniflex...I have a Enemy Territory Server and make or customize pk3 files for it, 99% of all the pictures, skins, models are tga files. It is a program I am very familiar with...Very easy to make pk3 files with it also...makes Zip or rar files with hardly no effort...And I have a life time License for it... Don't want to learn another program because I like this one.....
Cyclic...I have a duel boot PC...so if the print key is working on xp it is working on windows7...
Sir George... You Posted...To my knowledge, you cannot capture a scrolling image using native Windows 7 screen capture. I have used Snagit for that particular process....
I'll give Snagit a try...I new there was a software program out there that would do the job...
But did not know which one...LOL...Sir Geroge...
Thank you all very much for taking the time to answer my post...
