I Know

You must click "Delete Temperary" in menu bar.
If Some folders in your disc are in the tab "Ready to be........."
Then it will delete to Recycle bin but the real file will back to the currently file.

I think it will be well done.

Thank you for what is probably the only useful post in such a long thread: it's amazing how people just assume you're dumb and give such pitiful non-answers when someone asks for a solution to a problem. I'll be trying the copy/paste method instead of SendTo/DragNDrop and see if it reappears...

My attempt to provide useful information:

After scanning the start and end of this thread, I made myself a note.
When I saw what you said, I figured I'd share it. Got it all from you guys.

How to Delete, Files Ready to Be Written to the Disc:
(Specifically, the 'desktop.ini' file.)

The burning folder is: (Substitute <user name> below.)

C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Burn\

(While 'Computer' is not displaying the 'desktop.ini' file,)
simply delete everything in the 'Burn' folder.
Re-open 'Computer', and voila! desktop.ini is gone! :O)

PS: I had the Desktop.ini only when I use DROP and DRAG, so I use Copy and Paste. Never have the problem since.

Hope my summary of the beginning and end, helps! :O)

Edit: I just noticed that ImgBurn, is leaving 'desktop.ini's, for me to delete. Yup. I just made a shortcut to the above mentioned 'Burn' folder. (Saves clicking.)
Also, of course, turning off 'show hidden files', under 'tools>folder options>view', would probably hide it. BUT, it could still be 'burned'. (However, ImgBurn defaults to NOT burning hidden files.) ... :O)
