Hello Crimson, and welcome to Sevenforums!

First, what antivirus are you using?

Second, let this scanner run on your computer to search for infected files: Microsoft Safety Scanner - Antivirus | Remove Spyware, Malware, Viruses Free

See if this helps you with any firefox errors: How to Fix Mozilla Firefox | eHow.com

You are never supposed to run 2 or more antiviruses together on a single computer. Also, to remove any antivirus, you may need a special removal tool to make sure you get all the pieces. In addition to your antivirus, consider installing/updating/running (full scan) the free Malwarebytes software. Good thing to have and highly recommended by most people: http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebyte...=dl&tag=button

Finally, run this tool to fix system errors: SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker - created by Brink

Work through these Troubleshooting Steps for Windows 7 especially to establish a clean boot, check System file integrity and clean/defrag your System.
