    Screen Issues

Hello everyone, I have posted an earlier entry about my Ma's computer screen flickering.. Lines in the screen.. Etc..

So, I figured it was a bad cable that goes into the monitor of this HP Laptop

Sorry I forgot to mention the specs.. of this Particular Computer..

    16" HP Pavilion Special Edition
    RAM: 4 GB
Processing Unit: Intel Duo Pentiums: @ 1.6 GHz
    AMD Graphics
Operating: Windows 7 64 Bit (Home Premium)

Anyways, I had issues with the computer after 2 months after the computer's purchase,
My Ma complained about lines intermittently and randomly appearing Quote: "Colors smear off, and lines come on the screen" So I call up one of my computer buddies and said that he couldn't fix it.. it wouldn't be worth his time or my money. He told me to call HP Because the factory warranty is still useful for another year.. I call HP.. The things they made me do were: Flash BIOS to an update version... (Problem Persists) System Restore 2x (Problem Still Persists).. After that They had my send it in to their HP Services... It took about a week and a half -.-" which was an inconvenience because my ma needs her computer for hours on end to do college homework.. so she has to use my computer.

When the computer came back... we used it for about 3 weeks, and you assumed it... The nightmare came back... I called in frustration trying to explain that its hard to complete a college career with a faulty laptop... so now Its a week and The computer has been shipped off... I am completely clueless of what this is! And I am pretty good at computers.. What could I possibly tell them? I want to tell them that I talked to a computer expert (Which is the forums here) and say what the HAVE to do for me.. Thank you (:

PS: I have to call them shortly..

It is them 'repairing' your computer instead of replacing it...
