Where did you get Win7? Did you burn the disk yourself? How are you activating it?
Please post back a screenshot of your maximized Disk Mgmt drive map with listings, using Snipping Tool in Start Menu.
In addition work through these Troubleshooting Steps for Windows 7 to check the logs for repeat errors, establish a clean boot, use System Resources to check for problems and solution, test hardware.
Win did activate.Is this happening with just the clean install or did you, also, install updates?I have a Toshiba Satalite p205 which came with Vista pre-installed.
I installed full version of Win Ultimate and everything was fine for awhile.
Later on after numerous updates it started to want to do a startup repair 3 out of 5 times.
My last resort was formatting and re-install. Same problem.
Anyone have a solution for this?
It's been so long I don't remember if problem occurred before or after update.
I purchased OEM disks. No problem on 2 desktops.
My experience has been that sometimes an update can cause issues. In an effort to isolate the problem you can view those that are installed and see if the date of install coincides with the approximate time you started having problems. You've had three months. Did you complete the steps in Troubleshooting Steps for Windows 7
If so what were the results for each step as we may have others based on what you report, which is why it is best to interact with us during troubleshooting so we can provide different steps if indicated.

Someone asked for a screen shot of the Computer Management window and it is attached.
I did find and install the Toshiba program installer. No news yet as to whether it made any difference.

I appreciate the help and patience and my following through with suggestions.
The plug went bad on power pack. Must find another plug before I can proceed.
