Size of all subfolders?

I'm in file explorer. I'm clicked on the parent directory of a large number of subdirectories that include a large number of assorted files.

Is there a way to determine the cummulative size of all files in all directories below the current parent?

Right click on the folder and select properties. The size will be shown on the General tab.

A free utility that provides an easy to use GUI for displaying folder/file size is "Folder Size". You can download it from;

Folder Size - Freeware file size analysis. Check the directory sizes, folder sizes and file sizes on your computer with this freeware tree size analysis tool.

As always, "there is more than one way to skin a cat", but this program works well for me.

In Windows 7, when you create a 'Subfolder' within the 'SendTo' folder, and put program shortcuts into it, that subfolder when you navigate toward it via the right-click SendTo, that subfolder does not nest open like it did on WXP's SendTo menu. Q: Why would one want to have a subfolder in...

Hello, Sorry if such a question has been posted before. I couldn't find it. I don't know how, but suddenly when I double click in a folder inside of a drive folder, the drive folder in the left pane also opens and shows all subfolders. It wasn't like that before and I tried but could not...

XP has no access to shared Windows 7 subfolders
Hi there. Connected an XP machine to my homegroup. It has access to several folders that are shared on a Windows 7 machine (I'll call them A, here). However, it refuses stubbornly to open others, which are shared on the same terms as the ones that can be opened (I'll call them B). So to try to...
