    Icons Blinking

The Icons in the desktop started blinking since 2 weeks ago. I tryed antivirus, antimalware and every thing but still blinking. I have Windows 7 Pro 64 bits. I restore to a date before and before and before but it did not fixed. Yesterday I run the installation disk and as soon as I started download the updates from Microsoft, the desktop icons started blinking again. That is the only thing blinking because the wallpaper does not move, nor task bar, it is only icons. I checked up also the memory, because sometimes I received a massage of low memory, and I used the Fix from Microsoft and it fixed memory but not the blinking icons. Could somebody help me?

Are you using WebEx Desktop productivity tools? If so, uninstall the software and see if that solves the problem.

Uninstalling WebEx and Installing it again can solve your problem. Cheers !!

I don't have WebEx Desktop installed. The last thing I've tryed is re-install windows, and did not installed any program. After that, some minutes later, the icons started blinking, so I am thinking it could be something wrong with graphic cards or any other.

It has to do with the graphics driver. Are you using a custom .icc color file? Just to confirm, this happens when you open a folder or close down the start menu on the desktop? Basically whenever Windows refreshes the desktop so new items appear (like when you copy a file to the desktop).

I had this problem for a while. I reimaged my machine back to a previous image and updated the nVidia drivers. I've also not color corrected my display yet. I don't know what was the true fix.
