| | A malware usually disable Task Manager so you can't see the process through it. Install Malwarebytes and scan for malwares by running a full system scan. |

| | Yep, it sounds like your system has gotten infected by some malware. I'd strongly recommend doing a full scan of your system with Malwarebytes free to help be safe. You can use OPTION ONE in the tutorial below to enable regedit. Regedit - Enable or Disable - Vista Forums |

| | While scanning must be a priority, you can re-enable several items with Re-Enable from a fellow member at Raymond's Forum. Including task manager. It is safe, I have the portable on my system, although Malwarebytes does warn of a possible malicious item when I start it. A Guy |
