    Missing Boot file from Windows.

Yesterday, I moved the boot ini file from my hard disk drive and created a new folder in C: and I've put it there. And it is a bad idea because my computer won't boot.
    It always say
    Loading BOOT file
    from C://Windows
and then as usual I get a black empty screen.
Can you please tell me how to fix these.

    Welcome to Windows Seven Forums.

Providing you have a Windows 7 DVD or a System Repair disc, have a look at this tutorial.

    Boot.ini file ?

Are you dual booting with XP?

How come you don't have install media if you are running win7 Ultimate?

Good question. How did you install Windows 7 if you don't have a Windows 7 DVD?

If you are using illegal or pirated software we can help you no further as per the forum rules.

    I rather expected that answer.

Firstly, it's a DVD, not a CD, and I would ask again, how did you acquire it?

In that case, you'll have a legal product key no doubt.

In any event, unless your license permits otherwise, it's one DVD, one computer.

If you've used it, your uncle can't, and if your uncle has used it, you can't.
