Windows 7 64-Bit Ultimate: Disable start of progs after reboot

Hello,

I am running windows 7 ulitmate x64 and have a quick question. I notice when my computer updates itself and goes for a restart, after the computer has rebooted all of the programs that were left open also restart. Is there a way to turn this feature off?

Basically I'm looking for way to stop the opening of programs after a reboot, forced or not.

If anyone can help me with this i would be greatful.

Mike

This normally only happens with certain browsers like Firefox, and only when you set them to do this in Prefs.

I would run a Clean Boot to see if that helps: Troubleshooting Steps for Windows 7
