    PC indexes DVD before opening folder to view files


    Hello,
    I have several DVD's with 60,000 files on them. (these come from a vendor) When I try to open them it takes an hour before I can view the files. I think it is because it tries to index the DVD before it opens. Does anyone know of any way to turn this off?

    If we open it on an XP computer, it just opens.

    Any help is appreciated.

Opening to view folder slow

Ok some help please. If i open in explorer my photo folder, i have about 2000 jpgs, it takes around 1-2 minutes to sort if i want it from date modified order. I have 4GB memory, so I dont think its that. Can i speed it up. I disabled winrar shell integration, still slow. Thanks anyone. Dell XPS...
