Can't boot normally after gparted realignment
I used gparted to realign my new solid state drive (C). When booting into Windows, it no longer opens, giving the error "0xC0000225" and "the boot selection failed because a required is inaccessible". There is no mention of a missing file.
To get Windows 7 to boot, I need to go into the boot menu, and select the second hard drive (E), or CD/DVD, after which it will boot into Windows. The C Drive realignment appears to have been successful apart from this issue.
I've tried startup repair, but it cannot find a Windows installation on the C Drive. I also tried a few things I found on the net, like bootsect and bootrec when in startup repair.
Have any of you kind people got any ideas? I'm a bit new at this, and was following what I thought were fairly simple instructions!
Thanks,
