Hi, welcome to sevenforums.
What did you do that this happens? Did you change owner, did you change permissions? please explain
How did you restrict access? Through the BIOS? The BIOS would be my first idea to look for control over that.
Ok! I was trying to restrict access to the drive. I right-clicked it, then selected PROPERTIES, then SECURITY tab,
change permissions I clicked on EDIT and checked DENY for AUTHENTICATED USERS, SYSTEM, ADMINISTRATORS and USERS.
Now I can't access the drive, Please help me out.
Hello Richdude, and welcome to Seven Forums.
While logged in an administrator account, you can right click on the HDD, take ownership of it (you'll have to give permission first though), edit permissions to check Full control for all of the same users and groups, then click on OK to gain access again.
Hope this helps,
Shawn
