A couple days ago I was playing Diablo 3 (this may be totally unrelated to the problem). When I exited, my screen was very grey and dim (very similar to how everything gets greyed out when you get a security pop-up). Even when my brightness is set to the maximum value, the screen looks very grey.
I went to Windows 7's Color Calibration tool, and upon opening it, the problem was fixed. Everything looked normal. I went through the calibration, but at the end, I got the following error: "Display Color Calibration can't save the new calibration. Close other programs that are open, and then try again. The system cannot find the file specified". My display then went back to being very dim.
Today, I was asked to install Service Pack 1 again for some reason? No idea if this might be related.
I have tried:
-Reinstalling my graphics
driver
-Calibrating the display in safe mode
-Exiting all unnecesary processes when trying to save the calibration
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
