    Windows basic setup problem?

In the past, whenever I've set up my desk top using xp/vista etc I've never had this problem.
I like to be able to open my c drive and my d drive in seperate windows, Ok, no problem there you say, I also want them to be in the same place on my screen when I open them next time.
I open the window for c drive, I then click organise at the top of the window, I then click, folder and search options, followed by View and apply to folders.
This should lock all my windows in place for the next time I use them but it doesn't, they just pop up on screen in random places.
    Can you help?

    Welcome to the Seven Forums
Windows 7 does not remember the folder position. You should try https://www.sevenforums.com/customiza...ions-size.html it works very well.
