I am glad you got the help you needed and have a well-organized system now.

Be aware that Easeus and all other Partition Managers and their boot disks can fail. Only Partition Wizard CD and Disk Mgmt will never fail and lose data.

I have lost data with both Easeus Home and Boot CD during resizing is why I mention this.

In thousands of partitioning operations here using free PW CD we have never had a failure - only once or twice when the user slipped and used the Home Version.
Do you mean you lost data when using Easeus to partition?
As far as booting, I use Acronis to back up and restore.

    How can I lose data?

During resizing the operation fails with total data loss. Only PW boot CD and Disk Mgmt have never been reported to fail.

Of course the data should always be backed up, and a System Image saved as well if you cannot afford to lose the OS installation.

The tools just aren't absolutely fool-proof. Good, but not perfect. Drive geometry is complex and tricky.

You might get in situation that can't be undone and never know why.

If a tool gets you in a jam, all you can do is try some other tool, which may be a step down in reliability from the first one. You might be forced to spend thousands on a professional data recovery outfit.

Kinda like imaging---hope it works, know what you will do when it doesn't--i.e. back up your data.

Partition Wizard has been the least problematic of any of the partitioning tools--at least on this forum.

Thanks, I'll use Partition Wizard in the future.

Wish you would have mentioned PW Wizard last night prior to my using Easeus, but at least I had no problems this time.
I'll use PW in the future.
