Display driver stopped responding and has recovered
Hi,
This error happened to me just now and my PC blackout and restarted on its own. And i was told that my driver is outdated. How can i check or fix this?

What were you doing when the error occurred?
Please post your full computer specs.
Without even knowing which graphics card you have, we cannot give good advice as to where to get a driver that doesn't crash your computer.
Have a look here and select your computer from the model list. I would think you need the Intel VGA driver.

So i just install by clicking "setup" and everything done problem solved?
Best to right-click setup then choose Run as Administrator. It should then install without a problem other than you may need to restart your computer.
Yes, everything should be OK now.
As to why you were informed you needed a driver update, you can probably thank the Windows 7 driver database for that. It is constantly being updated with new drivers, which in many cases can be pushed to you via Windows Updates.
There's nothing to worry about. Just look at it as Windows 7 looking after your system.
