    Welcome to Windows Seven Forum.

You say you installed Windows 7 yourself.

Can I ask how and where you acquired it?

Was it a clean install or an upgrade?

You may want to carry out a full virus scan, for which Malwarebytes is very good.

Hey there seavixen32. Sorry for the late reply. I purchased windows 7 ultimate from Microsoft website and i did do a clean install when I had my new motherboard installed. As far as virus protection, I am fully protected with Norton. No cheap version either. I can give you any screen shots that might help you if you need. Like i said before, Im no pro like you guys but can carry out any instructions you may give. Thank you again seavixen32

Please post a screenshot of your fully-expanded disk management layout.

Also, I still think you should scan your computer with Malwarebytes. Just disable Norton first.

Just remember that if we do find your computer is infected, any backups you have created since it was infected will become worthless as they would re-infect your computer if you restored from them.

Oh your so right. so I should run the malwarebytes first? Will that get rid of any possible infections? and then run a backup?
