Windows 7 64bit startup repair problem
Hello Im new to these forums and I really need some help.
As of yesterday whenever I start the computer, it says "Windows Error Recovery - Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. If windows files have been damaged or configured incorrectly, startup repair can help diagnose and fix the problem. If power was interrupted during startup, choose start windows normally."
it then gives me two choices: Launch Startup Repair (Recommended) or Start Windows Normally.
When I launch startup repair im left with a black screen with no cursor. Ive tried just leaving it alone but after 5hours it stayed the same so I just gave up and just turned it off.
When I start windows normally it tries to load up windows but after a few seconds Im brought back to the first screen with the same two choices.
I have also tried running safe mode and last known good configuration. Both of them lead me back to the first screen with the two choices.
If anyone has any ideas on what else I can do to fix this please let me know.
