    Windows Installer freezes for a long time


    I can open the installation program, but when i press install,the progress bar freezes for more than 10 minutes, then at some times,it moves.
    It takes much time (>20 minutes) to install ESET Smart Security 6 beta but still failed.
    I looked up the log and find that it has errors.
    MarkOneNeededPackage: RegOpenKey failed with error 2

    I find that it was caused by a card reader+usb hub device, but don't know why it caused this problem.

On my new laptop (Win 7 Pro), which is set up the same as my new PC (Win 7 Pro), almost every time I open up a program, I see a quick instance of Windows Installer showing up. Most of the time it doesn't get in the way, but I can tell it slows things down, and it definitely messes with Mozilla...
My Windows7 take so long time to shut down when i trying to shut it down after i open my laptop for a long time. I wonder what is the cause of this problem, it takes about 5minute ++ to shut down my laptop completely, anyone know what is the causes of this problem ?
Why is this. Like 10 minutes plus and it still says recycling. It should only take a second. Is it bad to let it continue at its own pace or should I restart the PC and try it again?
Hi! I have the next problem; whenever i try to install windows 7 ultimate x86 or 64 crashes after the part than says "Windows is loading files", after that it says Starting Windows and then it crashes, i burned the DVD 3 times the x86 and 4 times the x64 and the same problem:rolleyes:.... Got...
After I come back from leaving the computer on for awhile, like maybe an hour or two, I have no taskbar, no icons on the desktop, and I can't do anything....as in, I can't get into the computer. I have to reboot. Any idea why this happens? I would appreciate any help on this. It's puzzling!
