    how can i change the file system of a hard drive.


    I have a external usb of 500 gb.i want to change the file system of it to NTFS default

    is FAT32.i have format it multiple times with NTFS but its still FAT32.please help me

hello all! i encountered a problem after installing a new hard drive i have 3 HDs (including the one i just installed) C: wich is where windows is installed and E: and F: for data after installing the new HD ( F: )and formatting it, my system stopped booting, it just hangs, so i changed the boot...
I have discovered that my external hard drive is showing "unknown file system" hence why it will not show anywhere on the computer for instance under disk management or my computer, is there any way to get around this? like can a file system be recovered?
