Macrium restore from USB Thumb Drive.

Hi folks. I have imaged my neighbours Netbook with Macrium Reflect. Since it has no DVD burner, I want to create a bootable Macrium (Linux) recovery media on a thumb drive. Not sure how to proceed.
    Many thanks

Wow. What a great tutorial. Many thanks Derekimo.
The only item that confuses me, is why I would want multible Macrium ISO's on the thumb drive. The actual Backup Image is stored on an external USB hard drive, so I would only need to get to the Macrium recovery thumb drive to direct macrium Recovery to where the actual image is stored. I must be a little slow today.
    Thanks again.

You don't need multiple Macrium ISOs on there. I think he has set it up for several users with perhaps different hardware.

This tutorial contains a link in the Notes section to the WinPE version of the recovery disk already created as an iso by whs. This is usually a better solution than the Linux disk. Imaging with free Macrium

You will find the WinPE that whs created to be compatible with more computers than the linux recovery disc.

Get it here FileSwap.com : Macrium 5.0 WinPE.zip download free

I used Rufus to burn the .iso to a USB stick. Really simple to use. Get it here The Portable Freeware Collection - Rufus Be careful of the big Download Now! button. Look for the link for the download.
