Carry out following please:
HOW TO POST A SNAPSHOT OF DISK MANAGEMENT DISPLAY
Run disk management:
WIN |
type DISKMGMT.MSC | ENTER
This method gives you a display without the unneeded navigation pane.
WIN=key with Microsoft logo on top.

Maximize the output of Disk Management:
ALT-Spacebar
key combo | X key (selects Maximize) |
Drag the field separators (such as between Status and Capacity) to show entire field.

Make a snapshot:
WIN |
type SNIPPING | ENTER | New
Drag the cursor around the area you want to snip.
File | Save as | select save location and name | Save

Post the snapshot:

Bitlocker is only offered in ultimate. You'll need to reinstall Ultimate if you have a valid Product Key to activate it.

Since you knew access to your files depended upon Bitlocker working after reinstall, did you research what is required to maintain the encryption through a reinstall?

If this is what you need to know now, then your current thread title is unlikely to attract the attention of someone who knows.

Is the drive visible in drive management ? occasionally and I don't know why, Win 7 doesn't ascribe drive letters, you have to set a drive letter yourself in virtual drive manager.

Run cmd.exe
enter following:
systeminfo.exe > %userprofile%\Desktop\sysinfo.txt
hit the ENTER key

type, followed by Enter
EXIT

There will be a file called sysinfo.txt on your desktop.

ATTACH that file to your next post. Link will show you how to ATTACH a file.

Can't get Windows 7 to find my 2nd hard drive
I just installed Windows 7 today, and while everything else has gone smooth, I can't get it to find my 2nd internal hard drive. It has no problem finding my externals and my dvd burners, and I have read through the forums and went to the Computer Management -> Storage -> Disk Management, only to...

WMP 7 cannot find files from ext. hard drive
I am not very computer savvy, but I think this problem should not be happening. I have quite a bit of music stored on an external hard drive (hdd). Windows 7 can't find my hard drive.
I'm doing a complete install from Vista Home Premium to Windows 7 Professional (apparently a simple upgrade isn't possible). But the installation never gets started, because when it asks me to select a drive to install to, the list is blank. It can't find my hard drive, and there's no way to...
