    DRIVEIMAGE XML RESTORE (dualboot)

    hi,
I have a problem to restore an important (big) OS-windows7 previosly
    backuped with driveimage xml

    background:
    windows7 - sataHD 1Tbyte - c: with windowsXP - G: with windows7
backup with driveimage xml of partition c: and G:
DRIVEIMAGE XML restore of the two partions

the problem is on the boot of restored windows7

it is stopped without use of cpu in a wide azure screen

if I start explorer.exe arrive a temporary desktop where:
c: link the old G: (i think correct) but also link
another partition (i think a shadow of the old G:)
please excuse my bad and poor english
    Any help will be appreciated

    Hi Roberto,

Not easy to understand what you are trying to explain.

Are you sure the drive letters are correct?

Sometimes windows7 drive letter can change after restore.

If you can get to some kind of window 7 desktop, have a look and see if the windows 7 drive letter is what it was originally - probably C.

An easy way to fix it is with Paragon free rescue kit.

It makes a bootable cd - boot it , select normal mode - there is an option to correct drive letters in system registry.

Annoyingly, the download link is on Facebook:
