Elantech Question

So my computer was hit by a virus a few months ago. I was able to clear the virus, and restore the system... The only thing I have not been able to fix, is the Elantech software.... So here is some information.

The computer is a laptop... Usually, on the display bar, it will show the little Elan icon, I am sure you have seen it before. Anyways, when I boot the computer, it no longer launches... I have to manually go to the program, and launch it. Any idea on how I can fix this little problem?

I am running Windows 7. :P Thank you.

Is it possible to save your settings or whatever it uses, then uninstall and reinstall that software?

If you can go into the program and start it by clicking the .exe file, right click the exe file in the program and select show on desktop or show in taskbar whichever you want. See if that works for you.

I uninstalled it, and am currently installing it. I am heading offline for the night, so I will let you know tomorrow morning if it was successful. Thanks for the info guys. :P
