    Desktop icons keep moving

Hey i have problems with my desktop icons. They change everytime i right click and press refresh same after reboot.

I am not sure what is cause of this problem but it might have something to do with sort by. Every time i change the sort by function the icons stay that way. If i put them somewhere else they change their location back.

Can you please help me ?

    Welcome to Seven Forums.

To manage the Desktop Icons, I right-click on the Desktop and in the context menu select View. Then manage the Icons with the Drop-Down List that appears.

If auto arrange and align to grid are checked, they should not change place at random.

Let us know if those are checked or not.

Yeah i unchecked, i though that problem was this but it wasnt. It is most likely OS bug and it is stuck at last "sort by" selection. I try that desktop lay out thing but i am not sure if it worths the time. I am using rocket dock and i have only 2 icons on the desktop, but it is still annoying to live with the fact that i have this bug.

Did you make the screen-shot with the snipping tool?

Thank you. Arc. I tried with the snipping tool but couldn't. As I have not installed FastStone Capture on the W 7 Computer, I had to do it using the Print Scrn key.

    OT but thanks once again.
