Ho Hum
No upgrade here. I am running it in a VM so I can examine it. So far I don't see any thing I am missing with Win 7.
In fact it appears to me to be written for a touch screen and a user that wants to use the cloud. I may not be correct in this next statement but it looks to be an interface to buying their apps and services. I use a lot of MS apps but I am not into MS have a lock on me.
It is not a bad piece of software it just doesn't appeal to me. If MS was to pull some stunt like forcing me into it (Win 8). I would seriously consider another operating system.
After navigating through Win 8 for awhile I am getting more adept at it but it still doesn't appeal to me. I installed an app to get the start button and menu back and it works fine. Still not thrilled. In the past when MS issued a new system, I either really liked it or really disliked it (Vista). This one I look at it and almost drift off in to a sleep. I'm happy for those of you who are enthused and maybe over time I will come to like it. Meanwhile, It looks like it's me and Win 7.
