The (3) things I like about Windows8, is that enough to sway me to upgrade to Windows8, nope. Hopefully, somehow these features can make their way to Windows7. The task manager treats you like an idiot. Skydrive seems to be integrated, everywhere. Windows Store is everywhere, you can make your passwords if you own a camera or tablet by touching people and words, literally, oh this will be priceless to see people use. For those of you who dual boot with Linux, good luck Microsoft wants Linux to be signatured, otherwise, it will completely ignore Linux aka "secure boot", this is already causing controversy in the linux world. Business can make a Windows8 USB Key that will lack of a better word "self-destruct" when it needs too. Kinect can be used almost anywhere, you don't even need a keyboard if you have kinect. Windows8 does have a built in anti-virus program, although many believe Microsoft will be up against controversy and law suits.

    1. Faster Boot Times due to a hibernation file.
    2. Reset PC
    3. The Apps search menu

Those features won't come to Windows 7. The only feature that I like is option 2 and even it doesn't work on Windows 8. It says I have to provide the installation media. I hope that bug is fixed by RTM. I can't stand Metro (neither can a lot of other people) and it is a step back with no aero.

There are a few features I like in Windows 8 but not enough to warrant moving. The metro and other bad points out weigh the good for me on a desktop system. I did however really like the new square aero design and installed a Windows 8 style theme on my Windows 7 desktop as shown below. The faster boot was a bonus but something I can live without, I can't see me using it unless I get some kind of touch device.
