Strange issue here?

Ok maybe this belongs in another section but I thought I would post it here since there are more viewers on teh general discussion. I installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit edition. I have two 1.5TB drives in Raid 0 which created am array of about 2.8TB of free space. I installed windows 7 onto a 150GB partition I planned on using the remaining space for my D and E drives knowing that no single partition could be more than 2TB. However afdter installation I have a 100MB partition, 150GB partition tha windows is installed on a 1.8TB unallocated space and 746GB unallocated space. I could format and use teh 1.8TB but I cannot do anything with the 746GB unallocate. I can't create a partition, I can add it to the windows partition I can't do anything wiht it. Is there something I'm missin here. I thought the MBR 2TB limitation pertained to partitions andnot entire drive volumes. id that is the case is there a way to create a GPT disk as part of the windows 7 installation? this is really bumbing me out as 750GB of drive space can't be used. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.
