    Manager or Management?

Ok here is a question that probably doesn't need to be asked and probably doesn't have a satisfactory answer:

I save a little time by using the "Search" box to access Drives and Devices. So why is it "Device manager" and "Drive management"? Why can't it be "Drive Manager" and "Device Management"? Wouldn't it be logical to be "Device Manager" and "Drive Manager"? or "Device Management" and "Drive Management"?

    Never mind.

    Happy surfing!

Because I am the Manager, and you're not. Now, if you've got time to lean, you've got time to clean. You'll never make it into management if you keep questioning authority.

    Hello Robert,

I'll take a poke at it to see what you think.

Device = all installed or connected hardware. drives, motherboards, graphic cards, sound cards, etc......

Manager = The program that is responsible for the management of all the devices on the computer.

I think Device Manager sounds right. :)
