Is Windows 7 64 bit better for my CPU?

Update your SevenForums System Specs
User CP (located on the top menu bar) |
Your Profile | Edit System Spec (left-hand column)
To gather info, use Speccy (my favorite) or SIW or System Info
ADD the word laptop or desktop or netbook to the
“system manufacturer” block, for example,
Toshiba Satellite L305D notebook.
Provide full windows version info, for example:
MS Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64-bit
Use the “Other Info” block for Optical Reader,
Mouse, touchpad, wifi adapter, speakers, monitor, etc
Scroll down and click on SAVE CHANGES.

hi again, thanks all for help...i checked and my system does support windows 7 64 bit, and when i said that my CPU runs like single core i didnt mean that i have problems or something..just my gessing, maybe it runs like it should...but i had dual core on my laptop (1.8 GHz dual core) and it seemed to me like it was faster than this 2.6 GHz dual..maybe im wrong, i am going to install Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit and i will see what it will happen..if someone has any suggestions or other info on which windows is better just post..i will leave this thread open for a few more days to see what will u say and then i will decide..
