Intel workstation board standby issues S5520SC
So ive been messing with this issue for a while without any luck. Hopefully someone here can help me out.
First id like to note that I do have the latest drivers (Which arent really that new as they havent updated in a while) And I also installed the latest EFI complete update package.
Windows 7 Pro x64
When I go into standby the pc wakes up right away.
Heres the event viewer log
The system has resumed from sleep.
Sleep Time: 2012-06-17T17:19:50.118407300Z
Wake Time: 2012-06-17T17:20:40.594350500Z
Wake Source: Device -USB Root Hub
I have gone into device manager and any of the usb hubs that allow me to ive turned off allowing them to wake the computer. Some of them dont have this option, dont know why but they just dont.
Ive also tried unplugging all of my usbs except the mouse and after clicking standby pulling that usb. It still wakes. Keyboard and mouse are both set in device manager to not allow wakeup by them but I checked just to be sure.
Does anybody have any ideas for me? Machine is currently running on wireless so I know WOL is out the question at this point but event viewer says its usb related.
Hopefully someone has some kind of idea for me here, this thing sucks some power and takes so long to boot id like to have standby.
One other side note, I have reinstalled windows 7 from scratch and that didnt solve it. I knew it didnt work before but didnt reinstall for that reason, just know it didnt work before or after the reinstall.
Thanks in advance guys.
