does not recognize my log in information

I am using a computer that I brought home from my office. I switched something in a network wizard to say that this computer was for home use and not on a network. The wizard said to restart my computer which I did. Now when the computer starts up I get press control, atl, delete which takes me to my windows login like I did at the office. I entered my user name and password that I used at work and I get the message that it does not recognize my log in information. The "help" key just tells me why I need to press control, alt, delete. The options button does nothing. How can I get into windows and disenable this login step? Please help!!!!

Hi rfhorne, welcome to the Forum.

When you type in your user name the computer is looking for the network connection to verify it. Now that you have removed it from the network that connection is no longer available.

Can you take the computer back to your work place, reconnect it & reset the network setting to network. You should now be able to log on.

Then you will need to change you user settings, so your logon is stored in your computer & not the network.
