Many languages and fonts display as boxes.
Before my first ever system restore, my system was fine with displaying languages like Chinese and Japanese as well as many fonts.
Now, my system seems to read these as squares often. Many fonts are defaulted to Arial or Times New Roman it seems.
Most of the time, the browser (Chrome) can read these characters on the page, but in the page title or in edit boxes, characters will be read as squares.
Any simple fix for this that doesn't involve downloading huge language packs? It seems that I just don't have the full set of Unicode installed, which is what I want.
As for the fonts, I guess I'll just have to install Microsoft Office again or something. It's about time I did anyway, wordpad doesn't do the trick.
