| Win7Ultimate x64 1 posts San Diego | Win 7 shutdown hangs fix for me When installed IE9, options for installing Adobe Flash Player. I may not chose to install or uninstalled later. That's when got Hangs on shutdown screen when said was installing updates probably for flash player not on system. This is when thought this was the cause after some reading error logs, research on WEB, help files, and other methods/tools. Got some help with a help center and said IE needs flash player. They did lot of remote repairs including getting flash player installed, and fixes to registry and activex DB. Works just fine now. Note I tried uninstalling IE9 via control panel but wasn't in list of installed programs (flash player was). So I couldn't re=install IE9. If you want help, try GuruAid "www.guruaid.com" or others you may know to assist in fixes. |
