    Cleaning Matte-Finished Laptops?

Hey yall, I recently got an Asus G74 (great for gaming, by the way) after my old laptop died.
It's wonderful, the only thing I don't like is how my fingerprints show up on the matte (ruberized plastic) finish on some of the computer.
Does anyone here know how to legitamately clean it? And is it safe to lightly wipe it down with water? Or how about windex?

isohix, welcome to SF. It is safe to use Windex as long as you don't spray it in or directly on the laptop. Spray one or two mists on a microfiber towel and allow it to sink in and then buff the surfaces until they are dry. Then before turning the computer on allow the laptop to air dry for at least another 5-10 minutes just to be sure that the moisture has all evaporated.

50/50 mix of Isopropyl alcohol and distilled water. Cleans practically everything and is cheap as can be.
